Adapt Movement Collective offers a number of private sessions for those seeking one on one instruction and assessment for specific injury management, chronic disease management, sports performance improvements or just general wellbeing. Our exercise physiologist’s are university qualified allied health professional’s equipped with both a bachelor or higher degree in Exercise Science as well as further study and certification in clinical pilates. One on one session’s with our Exercise Physiologist’s are ideal for clients with;
+ Osteoporosis
+ Pre/Post Joint Surgery including Arthroscopy
+ Osteoarthritis
+ Cardiovascular Disease
+ Respiratory Disease
+ Chronic Musculoskeletal pain/injury
+ Brain Injury
+ Cancer
+ Metabolic disorders such as Diabetes, CFS, etc.
+ Sports Performance
These sessions are claimable with your nominated private health fund if covered for exercise physiology.
Clinic/treatment space appointments
Exercise Physiology consultation
Adapt with Pilates now houses a private clinic/treatment room space, specifically for exercise physiology based assessment and home based exercise prescription. These consultations attract a Medicare/Department of Veteran Affairs, Workcover, NDIS and private health based rebates. Your GP or specialist may provide you with a Team Care Arangement and referral for a number of these specific rebates to be accessed.
Remedial Therapies
Our private treatment space is equiped with an electric treatment table to assist with soft tissue therapies including myofascial cupping, dry needling and kinesiology taping. This particular service is not eligible with Medicare/DVA, Workcover or NDIS, however does attract a private health rebate if you have remedial massage within your private health insurance.
Holistic Nutrition
Nutrition based consultations with weight management, autoimmunity, gut support and pain management concerns are available within this clinic space. Nutrition consultations do not qualify for any specialised rebates and are by private appointment only.
